Hiking Trails
There are two primary hiking trails in Fairfield Bay: Indian Rock Cave Trail (located at Indian Hills Golf Course) This trail begins by taking the steps down on the left side of the Old Log Cabin and returns on the right side. This path leads to Indian Rock House where De Soto visited the Indians in 1542 while seeking the Fountain of youth. The path continues along the Indian Hills Golf Course, rising and returning along beautiful bluffs. Golfing Opportunities
Fairfield Bay is one of Arkansas' top golfing destinations. The Fairfield Bay Community Club owns and operates the Indian Hills Country Club. Two other popular course destinations, not affiliated with the Fairfield Bay Community Club, are Mountain Ranch and Tannenbaum.
Tennis Opportunities
The Fairfield Bay Tennis Center features newly-renovated courts that are open for free play at your convenience. The Recreation Department offers Racquet and Ball Rentals as well as a ball machine. The Tennis Center also features Mix-N-Match Doubles where guests can come mix with our local players and enjoy social doubles with a fun rotating format at 6:00pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Fishing & Boating Opportunities
Fairfield Bay is situated on the North Shore of beautiful Greers Ferry Lake, a 40,000 acre, crystal clear, body of water. Greers Ferry Lake is one of our biggest attractions. The Fairfield Bay Community Club owns and operates the Fairfield Bay Marina, a full-service marina providing fuel, boat rentals, food, and souvenirs.
